DESCRIPTION:Carrying the subtitle The Making of A Torturer, this is a drama-documentary based on statements from former Greek EAT/ESA (1972-73) policemen and their torture victims, mixed with fictional reconstructions of the training of EAT/ESA conscripts. The film lays bare a system that makes terror acceptable and which turns human beings, unbeknownst to themselves, into torturer/terrorist robots.\n\nThe screening is part of a series of events organized by the Hellenic Film Academy from September 15 to October 20. The initiative is being carried out with the support of the Hellenic Film and Audiovisual Center — EKKOMED, as part of the organization of the awards ceremony for the 39th European Film Awards Athens 2027.\nIn collaboration with the Association for the History and Memory of the National Resistance (SIMEA).\n\nThe screening will be followed by a Q&A with Andreas Apostolidis, director and writer.\n📍Achilleion Cinema-Theater / Municipality of Volos\n\n\n
