Accessibility

Our aim is to make the CineDoc website accessible to as many people as possible, regardless of technology, device or disability.

The standard we follow

We are working towards conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines WCAG 2.1, Level AA.

These guidelines cover, among other things, colour contrast, keyboard navigation, screen-reader accessibility, zoom and adaptation to mobile devices.

What we have improved

  • Visible focus indicators during keyboard navigation.
  • Sufficient colour contrast for text and interactive elements.
  • Accessible names for links, images and icons.
  • Appropriate size and spacing for key buttons and touch targets.
  • Support for zoom, content reflow and reduced motion.
  • Semantic structure with appropriate headings, links and forms.

Accessibility testing

The Caravan page has been tested with automated tools against WCAG 2.1 AA and achieved a full score in the most recent automated accessibility test.

Automated tests identify only some potential accessibility issues. For this reason, they are supplemented by checks for keyboard use, focus visibility, zoom, content reflow and logical navigation order.

Known limitations

Improving accessibility is an ongoing process. Some older pages, documents, videos or third-party content may not yet be fully accessible.

We are working progressively to identify and address such cases.
