CineDoc Caravan brings documentaries to villages and communities throughout Thessaly, traveling from Volos to the Thessalian Plain, Pelion, and the Northern Sporades. Screenings in public squares, schools, and cultural venues provide opportunities for meetings with filmmakers and experts, as well as discussions and activities centered on issues that directly affect local communities.
With a particular focus on the environment, climate change, and community resilience, the Caravan creates a mobile hub for gathering, cinema, and dialogue, bringing CineDoc to places where access to film is limited.
With the support of the Region of Thessaly and the “Thessaly” ESPA Program 2021–2027. In collaboration with the “Ilias” Society of Friends of Culture & badminton.

Funding
CineDoc Caravan is co-funded by the European Union under the NSRF 2021–2027 programme. The initiative brings documentary screenings and parallel events to villages and islands across Thessaly, with the aim of supporting cultural decentralisation, raising awareness and encouraging the active participation of local communities.
