CineDoc Documentary Festival screens and distributes award-winning Greek and international documentaries. For the past 16 years, CineDoc has been traveling throughout Greece with the mission to highlight documentary film as one of the most powerful forms of art. More than any other film genre, it has the power to inspire, change perceptions and influence the way we live and behave.

 

Starting in Athens, CineDoc travels to Volos, Thessaloniki, Larissa, Patras, and Rethymno, as well as to villages in Thessaly and Greek islands. The Festival takes place every year from September through April across CineDoc’s main network, presenting a new film each month, while continuously expanding its screening network throughout the country through partnerships with film clubs, schools, local communities, and cultural and environmental organizations. Parallel and regional events take place throughout the year.
